Delete your Lomari account
You can delete your Lomari account and its data directly in the app. You do not need to contact support to do this.
How to delete your account in the app
Open Lomari and go to Settings → Account and data → Delete account. This is the same path on iPhone/iPad and on Android. Confirm the deletion when asked; if you are the last parent in a family space, the app asks you to explicitly confirm that the whole space is deleted together with your account, as explained below. If you want the family to keep using Lomari, invite another parent first and let them stay.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes: your membership in every family space, your devices and their last known location, the safety zones you own, your messages, your push-notification and Location Push tokens, your consent records, and your diagnostic data. This happens immediately when the deletion is confirmed.
What is kept, and for how long
After deletion, only an anonymized record that an account was deleted remains — a timestamp with no name, email or device information — so we can show, if ever asked, that a deletion actually took place. It cannot be used to identify you or reconstruct your data.
Our database provider, Cloudflare, keeps point-in-time backups of the underlying database for up to 30 days as part of its own disaster-recovery process (Cloudflare D1 Time Travel). This is a platform-level backup window, not a feature we offer, and it applies to deleted accounts the same way it applies to everything else stored in that database: for up to 30 days a backup could in principle be restored to recover data that existed before deletion, after which no copy remains anywhere in our systems. We do not access these backups to look at your data, and restoring one is an exceptional disaster-recovery action, not routine practice.
Leaving a family space vs. deleting your account
Leaving a family space (Settings → Account and data → Leave family) only removes your membership in that one space; your account, your other family spaces and your devices continue to exist. Deleting your account is different and permanent: it removes the account itself, everywhere.
If you are the last parent
A family space cannot remain without a parent while children are still members. If you are the last parent and delete your account, the entire space is deleted as well: this also deletes the children's accounts, devices, locations, zones and messages, and their installations are revoked with a clear explanation on their device. To keep the space, add another parent before deleting your account.
Children's data
A parent can remove a child's device from Settings → the child's device page at any time, which deletes that device's location, zones and tokens. A child cannot be left without an adult responsible for the space; see "If you are the last parent" above for what happens when no other parent remains.
Requesting deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to the app, you can still request deletion. Email info@vml-development.com, or use the contact form, from the same email address as the Apple ID or Google account you signed in with — this is how we verify that the request comes from you. We delete the account without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receiving the verified request (Art. 12(3) GDPR), and confirm by email once it is done.

Lomari does not use end-to-end encryption; the server can read the data described above while your account exists, and everything is protected in transit (TLS) and by our storage provider's encryption. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account and does not cancel an active Lomari Plus subscription; cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
